The food was great with a huge variety of alternatives. Appreciated the double room with a big balcony, felt like we were home.

loved our stay at the cross scythes! the hotel had an old-world charm, comfy rooms, and a large balcony to enjoy the evenings. the location was great, close to peak district and peaceful. staff were welcoming and friendly, and the food at the pub was excellent. would happily return!

Best base for discovering Sheffield. Tastefully decorated and compact rooms with comfortable bed and a big balcony plus thick walls. Plenty of goodies for breakfast. Excellent and fab location, just next door to Totley War Memorial. 5 min walk from the bus stop. Enjoyable stay, as always.

The free parking was on-site, EXCEPTIONAL service. Our room was compact and great-sized with a very handy balcony and good beer.

The hotel has a balcony room and a large beer garden. Breakfast is delicious with plenty of choice. The hotel is newly refurbished and in a peaceful location.
